Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many businesses have had to make a change to their regular schedule programs. Camp Roosevelt Firebird had to cancel its overnight summer camp this year. But fortunately, the owner, Joe Mendes, didn’t let that discourage him and his employees from still opening their cabins to families this summer! Welcome to Family Camp at Camp Roosevelt Firebird!
Nestled on over 9 miles of land (that’s 104 acres of land) in Bowerston, Ohio, Camp Roosevelt Firebird boasts a huge lake, creeks, hiking trails, pastures, forest, there is plenty of space to spread out and have a blast this summer with the entire family, safely! Memories like these will last a lifetime and you and your family will have so many activities to choose from! Family Camp offers swimming, canoeing, paddleboarding, camping, hiking trails, biking trails, basketball, tennis, archery, kayaking, fishing, arts and crafts, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings! It’s really up to you what you would like to do at Family Camp!
Every family will get its own cabin, cooking area, fire ring for smores and campfires, and a bathroom! So you won’t have to share with other families and everyone will be spread out in keeping with state and federal guidelines! You can decide what activities you would like to participate in and have fun as a family!!
