You can pass endless hours in this museum and they have something for all ages!  A favorite for kids under 4 is the Polymer room, which has quite a few activities suited for toddlers and young children.  The ball pit complete with mini cannon is fun for the whole family!

An amusement park for kids-only! All rides are open to children 50″ and under, but everyone is welcome on the train and roller coaster! Instead of admissions, this place requires tickets for each ride. Buy them in bulk – they never expire and you will definitely come back more than once!

Rockefeller Park

Named after John D. Rockefeller, founder of Standard Oil, Rockefeller Park runs on either side of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and is home to the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. The Cultural Gardens are one of Northeast Ohio’s oldest and most beautiful treasures. They consist of more than 30 gardens, designed and cultivated by distinct cultural or nationality groups.

Cleveland’s premiere zoo! This is a larger zoo run by the Metroparks with lots to see and do.  It’s a bit sprawling, though, so make sure you wear your walking shoes going here!  Strollers are a must with young children.

Akron Zoo

The Akron Zoo is a much smaller zoo equidistant from Cleveland East Side suburbs as the Cleveland Metroparks zoo.  This zoo is compact, clean, well-maintained, and private.  You can cover the whole zoo in 2 hours – perfect for parents of young kids that need naps!
