The humble radish. I have to admit, it took me a long time to warm up to radishes, but I really wish it hadn’t. They often get relegated to garnish status, an afterthought. But they don’t have to be. Their stunning color and their peppery flavor can get them a lot farther and these dishes below prove it.
If you’ve never had thin sliced radish on top of a well done sourdough bread with butter and flaked sea salt you just haven’t lived. So simple. So satisfying. I also love lots of sliced radish added to my scrambled eggs in the morning. This spring, be sure to add radish to your weekly rotation. It just might surprise you how much you like it.
