Hey fellow East Side Moms! My name is Whitney LoPiccolo and I live in Mayfield Heights,  I am a 34 year old mom of 2 boys Brayden (3.5) and Nico (2) with a bonus 19 year old stepson. I am a dermatology medical assistant at Allied Dermatology and Skin Surgery, working alongside some of the best doctors in the business, providing all of your medical & cosmetic skincare needs. As much as I love my job, my TRUE job is being a full time Mom to my boys, making everyday as magical as can be and always planning our next adventure. My ultimate goal is to make the best of these days at home, knowing someday the chaos of every day life will (hopefully soon) return to us..

As tough as it has been to have a schedule  we’ve been trying our best! I’ve been attempting to plan an outdoor and indoor activity for each day, with a fun lunch and a nap in between! We have done long nature walks (Acacia Park in Beachwood, South Chagrin Reservation, North Chagrin Reservation) . walks around the neighborhood or just chalk in the driveway. We’ve done a “trunk picnic” at Swenson’s in University Heights! Door-to-door service all while sitting in the trunk, jammin’ to Frozen 2 and sippin’ on a milkshake! 😊  This has been a kid favorite so far. For the cool and rainy afternoons, Michael’s craft store in Mayfield Heights is currently offering curbside pickup. We’ve done a lot of painting, coloring, play doh and have perfected our slime making.

The evenings are trying, as I’m not used to being home 7 days a week..Although we do cook, we have also been taking FULL advantage of the local restaurants offering the awesome and affordable family meal options! Arrabiatas in Mayfield, Piada, Lindey’s Lakehouse & Michaelangelo’s Winery have been a few our favorites.

But two weeks ago, takes the cake for fun … I promised the boys we would see Trolls 2 World Tour in the theatre, due to the circumstances that was a no go so we brought the theatre to us….A home movie night complete with a theatre menu, popcorn buckets, movie tickets and Trolls decor!

Many things I’ll be ready to move on from during this pandemic, but cherishing all the memories we are making.

I hope everyone is safe, happy and healthy!
