Saturday night, the fam and I decided to go out to eat for the first time in what feels like years!!  I’ve been dreaming of sushi since March and since we aren’t using babysitters right now, we needed to go to a place that would make everyone happy (no small feat)!!

Enter Market Hall at The Van Aken District!!

The Van Aken District has added a few new restaurants to the Market Hall and we wanted to try them and of course, everyone wanted something different, so what better way to make everyone happy than to sit outside with some beers and Coke from Mexico at The District!!

My kids made a beeline to Lox, Stock, and Brisket for The Lincoln Park (Picky Kid Eats Cleveland’s favorite sandwich EVER) and “the BEST” (per my daughter) grilled cheese on the planet!!  The Lincoln Park sandwich is a MUST if you go to Market Hall for lunch or dinner!  It’s messy, creamy, crunchy, and packs so much flavor!!  It might be one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tasted (Picky Kid did give me a bite of it to taste, but that’s all I got!)

I wanted sushi, and Domo Yakitori and Sushi did NOT disappoint!!!  Softshell crab, say no more!!!  Everything tasted fresh and it melted once it hit your mouth.  I’m hooked!

Finally, the husband couldn’t decide and took forever to order, but he decided on some delicious Poutine from Banter and beers from Craft Collective.  Everything was excellent and I’m really glad we have a wonderful, safe, family-friendly place to gather with friends, spend quality time with family, relax and enjoy amazing food/drinks!!

It’s the perfect place for everyone!

***Side note about our experience at The Van Aken District:  During our time there, everyone wore a mask unless they were at their table eating.  People were good about keeping their distance in line and being considerate of others.  Going out for dinner or other outings is a personal choice, one which you need to decide for yourself if you want to do it!  Also, I was not paid nor comped for my post.  All pics and text are my own!***
