CESM on the Move: October 27-November 2, 2019
What a week!! It was so much fun!! While there has been a lot of stress and illness this fall in our house, I was very thankful for a week that while it was still stressful, we all had a blast!!
I also fell off the candy wagon this week, by a lot. But I’m picking myself off the floor and starting fresh. My plan is to have very limited sugar from here until December 31, when I hope to give it up all together!! I’m not one of going cold turkey, so I think this will be a nice slow plan!! I do notice a huge difference in how I feel when I limit or have no added sugar! So, that’s what I’m going for!! Anyone want to join me?
Last weekend, my daughter had a birthday party with her bestie at Shaker Rocks!! She had a blast and it was so nice getting to meet more parents!! Shaker Rocks did an amazing job hosting the party for 5 and 6 year olds. No one was every bored and the kids left being proud of their rock climbing skills. My girl made it to the very top once and her confidence skyrocketed!! She feels like she can conquer the world now and that’s pretty awesome. So, not only is it a good workout, but it’s also a huge confidence builder and that is really important to me!! I highly recommend taking your kids there!
Later in the week, I got a super sneak peek at Mr. Kringle’s Suite at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland Hotel. I had a *jolly* good time 🙂 The designers at Kringle’s Inventionasium did not miss a single detail!! And the Hilton pulled out all the stops!! You can rent the room for you and your family starting now until January 12th, so you better hurry over to their website and book your stay NOW!! For more information, see my blog post!
I just want to curl up in this big fluffy bed!!
Halloween was an interesting night. I’m thankful that it didn’t rain, but that wind though! It was an all around weird night! Sadly, our candy bowl was raided quickly and in the 10 minutes I went back inside to calm the dog to the time I went back out, it was gone. Our street doesn’t get 400 kids in 10 minutes (that’s how many pieces of candy I had out), so I hope whoever took it all needed it. I say every year that I’m not going to put any candy out, but I really love doing it. I just wish they would leave some for other kids!
Anyway, weird kid (mine). Apparently, that’s a Fortnite pose???
I’d make a great Elphaba. I’m available if anyone is casting 🙂 I have theatre experience and an Opera degree!! Will work for applause!!
Waking up on November 1st with a tiny bit of snow was great!! With Thanksgiving so late this year, I’m feeling the need to get the decorations up and toys purchased!! I can’t wait for all the Christmasy events around the area….but which ones to go too?? Any recommendations? What does your family love to do every year? Please share with me!!
And, tell us what you did this week or have planned for this coming week!! We’d love to include some readers adventures!!
