Best East Side Sledding Hills
Yesterday on Instagram, I asked all of you via stories, where you like to go sledding. I got so many answers, that I thought I’d write them all up for you!! Sledding is one of my favorite winter time activities. When the kids need to get out of the house and burn some seriously energy, we go sledding. Having to walk up a hill 50 times is enough to wear anyone out!!
Cain Park (1986-2004 S Taylor Road, Cleveland Heights)
This is a staple in the Heights. The best hills are located on Taylor Road! This area gets packed at times, so make sure to drive by before getting out of the car. When it’s busy, I wouldn’t recommend it for little ones!
Thornton Park (3301 Warrensville Center Road, Shaker Heights)
Two quality sledding hills! One is for older kids and one would be great for toddlers!
Shaker Country Club (3300 Courtland Blvd., Shaker Heights)
Filled with smaller, less extreme hills. Perfect for the whole family!
Beachwood City Park West Sledding Hill (West of Richmond Road, Beachwood)
Located on both sides of Shaker Boulevard
Old River Farm Picnic Area (North Chagrin Reservation)
Near Squire’s Castle in Willoughby Hills, just south of Rt. 6 .
Knob HIll at Forest Hill Park (Cleveland Heights)
Epic sledding and beautiful scenery
Kelly Picnic Area Sledding Hill (850 Euclid Creek Parkway, Euclid)
Euclid Creek Reservation, use the Green Road entrance
Lomond Elementary School (17917 Lomond Blvd., Shaker Heights)
Some smaller hills, perfect for toddlers!
Coventry Peace Park (2843 Washington Blvd. Cleveland Heights)
The hill at the park is great for all ages. It does get busy, so make sure to keep an eye out!
Canterbury Elementary School (2530 Canterbury Road, Cleveland Heights)
Canterbury has a few hills that would keep any kid happy!

Do you need some time to yourself? Then The Woodhouse Day Spa at Pinecrest in Cleveland is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some much needed pampering!
I lived in New York on that fateful day. 19 years later, I still remember September 11th like it was yesterday, every detail, every smell, every person I was with.
Weekends are better when you pick your own apples and pumpkins!! Check out Cleveland East Side Mom’s 12 favorite farms in the area that also provide some entertainment for the kids (i.e. hayrides, bonfires, and so much more)!
